Business Development Executive

About the opportunity:

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an Business Development Executive with experience in the technology industry to join their Epsom office. You will be the front of the company finding new business to expand the client's customer base. 

Role description:

As the Business Development Executive, you will drive new business growth strategy with focus on both financial gain and customer satisfaction. You will be in charge of promoting our client's full range of technology solutions, addressing customers needs, as well as managing financial growth through improving sales and forging strong relationships. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and work with the support team to offer sales service
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients

This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:

  • Minimum 5 years local industry experience
  • Experience in cold calling and opening doors
  • Market knowledge of the technology industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build great rapport with clients
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Hard working and willing to learn
